The archive
Every impossible scene leaves fingerprints.
These are the notes behind the shorts: what the idea was trying to do, what the tools made easy, what they made strangely difficult, and what survived the edit.
Editorial rule: a production note must teach one real decision. If it only says that a prompt was “cinematic,” it does not belong here.
Current series
- AI Behind the Scenes: absurd unseen moments from recognizable cinematic worlds, treated as parody and clearly framed as fictional.
- Starpaws: original labradoodle astronauts in a playful space-opera universe we can keep building ourselves.
- What If AI: alternate timelines and historical “what ifs” where the visual hook carries a real explanation.
What a useful breakdown includes
- The creative brief and the intended viewer reaction.
- The visual constraints: aspect ratio, lighting, character continuity, and references.
- The production path: image, narration, edit, sound, and final export.
- The failure modes and the fixes—not just the polished result.
- A clear note when a tool, product, or link is sponsored or monetized.
